Applications for the seventh annual South Carolina Silver Crescent Awards for Manufacturing Excellence are now being accepted.
With nearly 5,000 manufacturers serving as the lifeblood of South Carolina’s economy, the Silver Crescent Awards for Manufacturing Excellence recognize the best and brightest of our corporate citizens. The awards honor outstanding small, medium and large manufacturers and promote the importance of manufacturing to our standard of living and quality of life in the Palmetto State, while increasing awareness of the importance of manufacturing among the general public.
To be eligible, nominees must have been in business in South Carolina for at least three years, as of May 1, 2008. Awards are presented in three categories—small, medium and large manufacturers—as determined by the number of employees. Anyone may nominate a manufacturer, including employees, community leaders and volunteers.
Nomination applications may be completed on thei website no later than March 3, 2008, for presentation to the award selection committee.
