“Lynn Takala, 25 and a nearly four-year veteran of Fluor, has found her niche.
When she thinks of her future, “I can see myself staying with Fluor and working more on projects” than a technical position doing straight engineering, she said.
Colleagues have seen her passion for her career and her avocation — volunteering. She has been named one of 14 “New Faces of Engineering” — part of the nationwide celebration of Engineers Week 2008. The 14 young engineers are all 30 or younger.”
