March Lunch - Making South Carolina Competitive

George FletcherNew Carolina, The South Carolina Council on Competitiveness has one clear mission, steadily raise the average income of South Carolinians, which is now just 82% of the national average. They propose to do this using a number of techniques gathered from a special study of South Carolina done by Harvard Professor, Michael Porter. New Carolina identifies, births, builds and celebrates the clusters of innovation in the state that will create higher paying jobs for more South Carolinians.

Come listen, learn, and lunch with us as George Fletcher, Executive Director of New Carolina Initiative explains how they are helping companies come together and connect with the resources needed to foster growth and enable business to pay workers at a nationally competitive level.
