What’s an Angel Investor? How do they work? How do I get their help? What will I have to give up?
Get these questions answered at our next GSA Technology Council learning lunch when we hear a presentation from Upstate SC Angel Investor, J. B. Holeman of Holeman Investments and the newly formed Upstate Carolina Angel Network (UCAN).
Just what is an angel? An angel investor is an affluent individual who provides capital for a business start-up, usually in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity. Increasingly, these investors organize themselves into angel groups or angel networks to share research and pool their investment capital. J. B. will talk about his experiences as an Angel Investor, the formation of the upstate angel investor group, and how you can go about connecting with them and other angel investors.
