Yahoo! today announced the new web services platform, Yahoo! Search BOSS (Build Your Own Search Service). Search BOSS is intended to give users the ability to Yahoo! Search Technology in custom ways such as to re-rank and control the presentation of search results. Search BOSS is an extension to Yahoo!’s Open Strategy by providing access to the companies search infrastructure and technology. Search BOSS is currently available as an API in beta.
