Anne Korin with the Set America Free Coalition to provide in-depth analysis during forum on August 26th
U.S. Rep. Bob Inglis (R-SC) said a comprehensive energy strategy must have as its goal to breaking free of foreign oil dependence by having freedom of choice in transportation fuels. Inglis’ Breaking Free energy strategy will be discussed during a series of upcoming town meetings and a “Breaking Free Forum” with a special guest energy analyst.
If we drill, conserve and develop new sources of oil but at the end of the day, the market is still controlled by OPEC, then what have we accomplished?” Inglis said. “We need a bold strategy for breaking free that uses market forces and American innovation to bring alternatives to the market.
Inglis will kick off the discussions with four Walk Talk town meetings:

Also on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at CU-ICAR, Inglis and special guest and energy policy analyst Anne Korin from the Set America Free Coalition will lead a discussion and in-depth analysis of the implications of dependence on foreign oil beginning at 2 p.m. Korin most recently testified before the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee in May regarding America’s need for an new global security policy.
