Robotics Group Looking For Volunteers

EnTech, an engineering and technology based 4-H  program offering after school activities for students in Greenville county is looking for volunteers to help out on current projects.  EnTech meets year round after school and on Saturdays at Greenville Tech’s Barton campus. EnTech’s elementary school and middle school groups are both preparing to compete in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) competitions,  while the high school group is in the process of developing and building a working robot.

The high school group is currently in the most need of volunteer assistance as they will soon be building a functional robot from scratch.  Volunteers with experience in mechanical design, electronics, and engineering would provide a great resource to the group as it gears up for the competition.  Also an individual who be willing to offer some time as a “website guru” would be a large asset to the team.

If you are interested in volunteering or want some more information please visit http://www.entech281.com/ and/or contact Daryl Ann Frey at dfrey@entech281.com.
