eGroup, a Greenville company headquartered out of Charleston, was for its second time honored at the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s annual “Roaring 20’s” event as one of the exclusive twenty regional companies whose combination of explosive growth and gross percentage revenue increases over the past 3 years has moved them to the forefront of the dynamic business community. The event took place on January 22nd at historic Hibernian Hall in downtown Charleston, and eGroup was recognized as the 4th fastest growing company of the 20 honored in front of a sold-out crowd of business and community leaders.
In order to qualify for the Roaring 20, companies had to be nominated, and then were qualified and ranked using a formula created by Dixon Hughes, a Charleston based CPA firm. Companies must be headquartered
in Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester county, be a for-profit entity and have gross revenues of more than $500,000 in each of the fiscal years 2005, 2006, and 2007.
