Congressman Bob Inglis (R-SC) launched an all new Inglis for Congress website (www.inglisforcongress.com) Friday that is driven by social media as well as discussions by voters from the Fourth District.
The site features new interactive elements such as the “Share Ideas†section for topical and timely discussions on current issues and automatic updates from Inglis’ Twitter page. Links to Inglis’ social media pages like Facebook, YouTube and Flickr are also available.
Photos from Inglis campaign events like Let’s Talk, Door-to-Door meetings, “Energy Breaks†and fundraising events will be posted each week to different galleries on Flickr.
“This is an exciting new website that has a lot of new features as well as a fresh look and feel,†Inglis said. “I’m excited about the social media components and how interactive the site is. Our development team did an outstanding job of combining ideas and efforts to create such an engaging site.â€
Local branding and identity agency Brains on Fire and The Worthwhile Company collaborated to give the site a cutting edge feel, while making it simple and easy for users to access and navigate.
“With the recent explosion of social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and others, it’s very exciting to put these tools to use as a powerful communication tool for the Inglis campaign. We’re very proud to be a part,” said Mike McCurdy of The Worthwhile Company.
