Greg Blake lit up the room at the July GSATC Learning Lunch. I don’t think any of us knew exactly what we were getting in to, but when I asked people what they thought about the meeting, this is what they had to say:
I thought Greg Blake was wonderful. If anyone left that room yesterday uninspired or didn’t get anything out of it then something is wrong with them. It was my best spent hour this week! Many things he said really struck a chord with me since I just recently lost my job. It’s NOT all about that job because it can be gone so quickly. Another reason the priorities are so important. I’m going to check out some of the books he mentioned and begin moving some pennies. – Susan

The time seemed to FLY by – as Greg was wrapping up, I thought “Hey you’ve got at least another ½ hour to speak†– no, the time really was up. – Hank
I thought the event was fantastic! Greg’s points were great and presented in a manner that included just enough humor to keep the audience engaged but not overshadow the very powerful message that he was getting across. I came away with a number of new ideas as well as a reminder of some things that needed to be brought to the front of my mind. I would highly recommend him as a speaker and was excited to come away with a good reading list too! Thank you for inviting such a dynamic speaker, it made my day! -Heather
I enjoyed it…a lot more than what i thought going in. In fact, i would have urged some non-tech acquaintances to come had I known. Good to be reminded of what is important and be encouraged. -Greg
I am very glad I was able to partake in the Greg Blake experience! During really rough times, I think we all tend to focus on the negatives of what’s happening around us and to us– especially these days on the news– and we all need to be reminded to put things in perspective. Phil, you made the meeting fun (always nice to be able to laugh). And Greg Blake taught, encouraged, & inspired me. How fitting was the subject of his presentation “How to Boom and Zoom in Times of Gloom and Doom” Just what I needed in this economy when trying to find a job. – Lee
