China Town Hall to focus on Strategic Economic Dialogue and Trade between the United States and China

Clemson University Center for China Studies, partnering with the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR), will hold the next Speaker Series event as part of NCSUCR’s third annual CHINA Town Hall, at Hyatt Downtown Greenville, Tuesday evening, December 8th.

Following President Obama’s recent visit to China, this event is designed to give audiences an understanding of U.S.-China bilateral relations as well as the effect of China’s rise on their own communities. There will be two components to the program. The first is a national webcast from Washington this year featuring Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Kurt Campbell, who will discuss current issues in Sino-American relations. In the second component, the program will feature China expert, Amy Celico, speaking on “Strategic Economic Dialogue and Trade between the United States and China.”
