A group of volunteers has come together to form the We Are Feeling Lucky campaign to attract Google’s high speed internet project to the city of Greenville. In addition to collaborating to complete the questionnaire and demonstrate the city of Greenville is eager to become part of Google’s test project, the group is organizing the “Google on Main” human chain. On the evening of March 20th event participants will be called upon to spell out the word “Google” by standing in formation on the blocks along Main street while waving glow sticks in the air. Organizers say they will photograph the formation from the air and use it as a demonstration of local interest in the Google broadband initiative.
