Clemson University has just launched the new MBA program, “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” and is hosting a number of free information sessions for interested applicants in Greenville, Columbia and Charleston throughout the month of March.
The university is seeking 25 passionate candidates with strong business ideas who want to turn those ideas into reality. The new MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation program will give candidates the foundational skill set, creative experiences, technological tools and network connections to create a successful, sustainable start-up venture.

MBA Program Highlights:
- Real World Start-Ups — Candidates will graduate ready to launch their own 100% owned business. It will be legally registered for them in S.C. in conjunction with expert law firm Nelson Mullins. The May term culminates in an investor “Road Show” where each candidate pitches their business plans in three different cities to help fund their start-ups.
- Rigorous and Experiential Curriculum — Candidates not only learn accounting fundamentals, term sheet financing, legal structure, rapid prototyping, technological innovations, and search engine optimization, but apply these lessons to their own start-up venture.
- Entrepreneurial Resource Network — Clemson has recruited a community of 75 mentors who act as work and life coaches for the 25 start-up entrepreneurs. The 3:1 mentor-to-student ratio fosters the growth of deep and meaningful relationships.
- World Class Faculty — The Clemson faculty is led by Spiro Professor of Entrepreneurial Leadership, Bill Gartner, Professor Greg Pickett and Dr. David Wyman. Most classes are team-taught by professors and entrepreneurs for a comprehensive learning experience.
