There are lots of people who style themselves as entrepreneurs, but find it hard to put in the work. Then there are the people who have become entrepreneurs again and again, even when it involves a lot of hard work. We think we can learn the most from persistent serial entrepreneurs. They have hit the wall more than most and when it’s the third time around, no one calls it luck. If you think listening to someone who has had success and failure (and success again) and managed to make it big, then you are not going to want to miss lunch in October.
We have Michael Watts, an experienced executive and entrepreneur, joining us this month to guide us through his experience of building innovative companies from the ground up. He’ll cover his involvement in the early days of the microprocessor with his first company ($50 million in revenue in 6 years), the invention of DVR technology with his second company ($10 million in 2 years) and a pivotal technology in the Iraq War with his third company, Force Protection Industries Inc. ($1.2 Billion in 5.5 years).
If you call yourself (or are planning to call yourself) an entrepreneur, this a learning lunch you’ll want to learn from.
