Electronics Recycling Day Saturday November 3

ewasteIn accordance with the South Carolina E-Waste ban (or the Manufacturer Responsibility and Consumer Convenience Information Technology Equipment Collection and Recovery Act) the city of Greenville holds the bi-annual, Electronics Television and Fluorescent Bulb Recycling Day in the spring and fall. November 3 marks the fall 2012 event.

Sponsored by the City of Greenville Solid Waste Division, the November 3 collection center will be located at 360 S. Hudson Street.
Free to City residents and businesses, the following items are accepted:

  • all things that plug into a computer (computer monitors, keyboards, mice, CPUs etc.)
  • televisions (including: fluorescent bulbs, tubes, ballasts etc.)
    Fluorescent bulb, tube and ballast returns are limited to 10 bulbs per person

Items may be brought to 360 S. Hudson Street from 10am to 2pm
