ORACLE PREVAILS IN ANTITRUST LAWSUIT

Despite the hype surrounding XML and web services, the death of the relational database has been greatly exaggerated. Oddly enough, a new data markup language doesn’t magically provide its users with good information design skills. Luckily, all of the skills and best practices you learned while designing relational databases can be quickly applied to XML document design. AssetPoint and Global PTM Establish Alliance

Greenville, SC – The SQL Innovators Group has scheduled their next meeting for 11:30 AM – 1:00PM July 23, 2003 at the Greenville Main Library.  The topics of the meeting will be the SQLIG.com web site; how to use it and how to contribute to it.  As well as a few instructional presentations highlighting some free SQL tools to help increase the productivity of SQL development.  For the full agenda click here.

Release – Stratatomic Launches New Website for Upstate Plastic Surgery

The SQL Innovators Group, a group that describes its mission as bringing together SQL developers, administrators and curiosity seekers from all mutations of SQL has set June 17th as the date for its launch meeting.  The meeting will be held at the Greenville County Main Library in downtown Greenville. The group will meet from 11:30 – 1:00 PM. Attendees will be able to purchase lunch from the sandwich shop in the library.
